Skokie PD - National Night Out

The Skokie Police Department is proud to take part in the National Night Out campaign again in 2018! #SPDNNO

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. This year’s festivities take place on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at OAKTON PARK (4701 Oakton Street) from 5-9pm.

The Village of Skokie, Police, Fire, Village Hall and Public Works Departments invite you to join us for a night of fun and celebration of our great community!

SPD planned activities include a Flight For Life landing and demo, tours of the Skokie Community Outreach Police Substation (COPS vehicle), the Skokie Police K-9 Unit, McGruff the Crime Dog, Balloon Art/Animals & Glitter Tattoos, dunk tank excitement, the Skokie Explorers youth group recruitment Q&A, a Skokie Fire Department apparatus display and water game, Village of Skokie residential services highlights and interaction, food, music, dancing etc... and much more coming soon:)

Most importantly, we want to hear from you, the residents, about how to improve your neighborhood and quality of life by partnering with the Skokie Police and other Village personnel to reduce crime.
