¡Bienvenidos a La Clase de Español! 

¡Hola! My name is Ms. Metropulos and this is my second year teaching at Fairview. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in education from DePaul University.  My concentration areas of study were Spanish and Italian.  While at DePaul, I had the amazing experience of immersing myself in the Spanish and Italian cultures while studying abroad in Granada, Spain and traveling to Rome, Italy. This past winter break I traveled to Guatemala and can now incorporate yet another culture into my classroom!  In addition to teaching, I spend my free time as a dance instructor at a studio in Park Ridge. My classes include: tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop.

This is a very exciting year for the Spanish classes at Fairview. We have selected a new textbook, Realidades, for both the 7th and 8th grade class curriculum. This new textbook will provide students with the most current vocabulary, methods of learning, and opportunity to incorporate technology into their Spanish learning experience.
